Travel updates

Started full time travel from June 2022.

After returning from the vacation in India in October, 2022, re-started the journey.

Winter limits travel as it is cold in most of the US. So relatively less travel from January to March-2023. Spent most of the time along the Texas coast where it is relatively warmer and no snowfall at all.

After March 15, 2023, picked up traveling every weekend.

Now in Henderson, Arkansas.

Here an important milestone was achieved. When I arrived in Henderson, Arkansas, I can say I have at least set foot in every 48 of the contiguous states in the USA. Two states Alaska and Hawaii are not connected. So traveling there by road is difficult. One can drive to Alaska by driving in Canada. Hawaii being an island in the Pacific is not reachable by automobile.

All contiguous 48 states touched in 26 years. Not a big deal. I have not seen much as I am not much of a tourist. I enjoy traveling but stay away from crowded touristy places.

When the full time travel started last June 2022, I had 18 states yet to touch. Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas were touched as part of the travel before September 2022. This time new states are Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas. So all done. 48/50. Checked and done.

This time so far 9,500 miles since October 2022.

Will slowly move to the east coast and then back to Texas for the winter.
